The presenter will discuss the fire alarm equipment distribution channels in the United States and the advantages and disadvantages to consider when selecting a proprietary system. The presentation will cover what functionality is generally standard across most fire alarm systems and the additional functionality found in certain proprietary systems. Cost considerations will be reviewed as well considering both installation and ongoing maintenance of the fire alarm system.
