Antifreeze System Modification Options for Fire Protection

This course will explore the new changes to the use of antifreeze in fire sprinkler systems following NFPA’s updated guidance to limit its use. The presenter will provide an understanding of antifreeze systems in fire protection and the current limitations in place. This includes addressing the required removal or modification of existing antifreeze systems by September 30, 2022. Participants will learn about the UL testing of new antifreeze solutions and the approved listed solutions that comply with current NFPA requirements.
