Water mist is a versatile fire protection application that is effective on a broad range of hazards. This course will be based on NFPA 750 ‘Standard on Water Mist Fire Protection Systems’ and FM Global Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 4-2 titled ‘Water Mist Systems’. The presenter will discuss the applications of water mist systems for various hazards and review the technology of how these systems function. An overview of design considerations for water mist systems will also be covered.
