Risk Analysis for Emergency Communication Systems

A risk analysis is the basis for designing an emergency communication system as it considers the unique characteristics of the building areas being covered and the type of occupants. This course will discuss completing a risk analysis as required by standards such as Chapter 24 of NFPA 72 and NFPA 3000. The presenter will cover the fundamentals of a risk analysis, what key hazards need to be considered, and how to develop this information into a comprehensive risk assessment. This includes manmade, natural and environmental risks that may impact a building.
