Fire Doors and Egress Doors Inspection and Maintenance

Fire doors and egress doors are critical safety components in need of ongoing inspection and maintenance to function properly. Fire doors are intended to reduce the spread of fire and smoke while egress doors are designed to allow occupants safe exit during an emergency. This webinar will be based on NFPA 101 and NFPA 80 to provide an overview of what doors are required to be inspected for fire rated assemblies and egress doors. General inspection provisions will be covered including those that specifically apply to health care occupancies. Participants will learn functional requirements for fire doors and egress doors as well as be able to identify points applicable to performing an inspection.
