Fire Alarm System Design in Factory Industrial Occupancies

Factory Industrial occupancies, also known as Group F in the International Building Code (IBC), include buildings where fabrication, manufacturing, assembling and packaging operations occur. This course will cover sections of the IBC and NFPA 72 ‘National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code’ related to the fire protection systems protecting these structures. This includes discussion on the pre-design risk assessment as well as insurance requirements that may be applicable.
